GREEN LAB GRANJA AGRARIAN ASSOCIATION: PURPOSES AND ACTIVITIES

The Green Lab Granja Agrarian Association (GLG) is a non-profit organization, Registered in the Registry of Associations of Andalusia, with number MA-14229. The Asociación Agraria Green Lab Granja (GLG) is a non-profit organization, registered in the Andalusian Register of Associations under number MA-14229.

The aims of the Association are the following:

(a) Promote and encourage Sustainable Agriculture, understood as that which guarantees world food security and, at the same time, promotes healthy ecosystems and supports the sustainable management of land, water and natural resources.

(b) Promote, design and develop training programs and actions (formal, non-formal, postgraduate) aimed at education professionals, both public and private entities, youth and adults , and to society in general on issues related to our aims and objectives: Disseminate knowledge of sustainable agriculture techniques, practices for soil regeneration, to alleviate the effects of desertification (hydroponics, permaculture, aquaculture, etc. ) and in general promote environmental and sustainability education.

(c) Raise awareness and sensitize the population about the importance of defending the environment, sustainability, recycling in all its forms, the use of renewable energies, reducing water and of CO2 emissions in food production.

(d) Make known through their own media and mass communication, the national, regional and municipal legislation related to organic and sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, recycling, etc.

(e) Contribute to the development of rural areas and communities, especially in areas vulnerable to desertification, land degradation and drought (DLDD), with the consequent socio-economic impact.

(f) Promote and develop networking with a local, county, provincial, regional, national and international dimension, with special emphasis on the European sphere, taking as a reference the values ​​and objectives of the European Union and its strategic development framework: promoting the competitiveness of agriculture; ensure the sustainable management of natural resources and climate action; achieve balanced territorial development of rural economies and communities, including job creation and maintenance.

(g) Promote Community Dynamization and Inclusive Territorial Development.

(h) Promote projects and programs for the collaborative management of resources for common use and the reconversion of Disused Material Resources (RMD), applying the principles of Collaboration, Responsibility and Inclusion, all of this within the framework of the Circular Economy.

(i) Promote and encourage equal opportunities between men and women; favor the participation of women in agricultural activities; particularly influence actions that contribute to the integration and development of women in rural areas, combating discrimination due to their dual status as women and groups at risk of social exclusion.

(j) Design, Planning, Execution and Advice to individuals, public and / or private entities on programs with a European and / or international dimension, to contribute to the fulfillment of the aims of the Association, such as:

    •   Programs Horizon 2020, Horizon 2030
    •   Horizon Europe
    •   Operational Programs attached to the European Structural and Investment Funds: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund, (ESF), European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and Cohesion Fund .
    •   Socrates Program (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, etc …)
    •   The Environment and Climate Action Program (LIFE)
    •   Structural Reform Support Program (SRSP)

(k) Promote volunteering.
